Uniform & Equipment

FUSION UNIFORM

The approved Fusion Fastpitch uniform shall be worn by all players 8U and older during all games.
The Approved Fusion Fastpitch Uniform includes the following:

1. A current Fusion Fastpitch jersey. A Fusion jersey from a previous season may be worn provided the entire team displays the same Fusion jersey. 

2. If long sleeves under the Fusion jersey are desired, they shall be solid black. 

3. Black softball pants

4. Black softball belt

5. Black socks

6. An entire individual Fusion team may substitute the black pants, belt, socks and/or the optional long sleeve shirt for an alternative color. However, the entire team must display the same alternative color of that item(s)

Fusion Fastpitch Jerseys

1. Will be provided to all 6U players every summer season. 

2. Will be provided to all players prior to their first 8U or older Fusion Fastpitch season. 

3. Will be provided to all Fusion Fastpitch players 8U and older prior to the summer season in every even year.

4. Can be purchased at the players expense if an additional Fusion jersey is needed. 

Equipment

All Players are required to provide the following equipment: 

1. Matte Black batting helmet with face mask
   Here are some options that are online or at local stores.
   -  Rip-It (Scheels)
   -  Champro (Scheels)
   -  Easton (Dick's Sporting Goods)

2. Approved fastpitch softball bat

3. Fielding glove

4. Fielders face mask - required for players 8U and older

5. Cleats
   a. Molded cleats are required for players 12U and younger.
   b. Steal cleats may be worn by players 14U and older.

Catchers Equipment

Fusion Fastpitch will supply catcher’s equipment to each team. If an individual catcher wishes to purchase their own personal catcher’s equipment, Fusion will reimburse one half of the cost of the catcher’s equipment up to a total of $200. The catcher’s equipment eligible for reimbursement every two (2) years and is limited to:

1. One (1) catcher’s mask

2. One (1) catcher’s chest protector

3. One (1) pair of catcher’s shin guards

4. One (1) catcher’s glove
