Tryout Information

Fusion Fastpitch conducts tryouts for 8UA, 10U, 12U, 14U and 18U levels to place players on the appropriate traveling team.

Players electing to play 6U and 8UB levels do not participate in tryouts.

8UA/10U/12U tryouts are held in the spring.

14U/High School (16U/18U combined) tryouts take place in the fall after the annual softball calendar rolls over to a new season on August 1.

Fusion Fastpitch seeks to conduct effective and fair tryouts, establishing procedures which ensure results in the best interest of both players and the program.

Players are rated in drills that demonstrate hitting, fielding and throwing skills. External evaluators are used to determine the scores.
